Such good points, thank you Sharon.

I am interested in your view on the show, Traitors! There seems to be so much against Mollie ( silly girl type of thing) when no one is noticing the controlling and coercive elements of which is such a big part of domestic abuse...I was ashamed of myself for trusting a man so implicitly and becoming so stuck...yet we need to know, ita not our fault, the world is full of bad people, those playing a Game of life.

I agree totally. I too noticed this, especially in the last episode. I didn't think anyone else seemed to habe noticed it either. Gas lighting on epic proportions. That poor woman. It isn't about trust. As long as we, as a society, and worse, our kids, are being drip fed this belief that it is OK to lie, gas light, manipulate amd control another person to get what they want, then absolutely nothing is going to change. I'm not going to lie, I did watch it from the start and it was only half way though that I realised I was being taken in by it! I carried on watching because I wanted to see how they played out the relationship. Mollie clearly adored Harry. He knew that and used it against her. In the media, unless I have missed it, I have seen nothing about this and it has surprised me. Maybe I will write a blog about it and our thoughts?!.

I'm so glad you said it's not about trust. I've been blaming myself for being so 'stupid' but as someone with low self esteem, but successful in my own right, I was easy prey. It was the going against my own intuition becuase of the gas lighting, that literally put me in physical pain. It's no wonder surviors of DA end up with serious ailments in later life, it takes its toll on us.

It certainly does. I habe a number of long term health issues as you know, and I wonder where their origins come from! Guess we will never know for sure. Imagine the commonwealth could claim if we did know!!!!!!
